Easy Way to Create a New Windows User Account

How to Create a New Windows User Account without registering a new Microsoft Account

If you’d like to run our bot from a separate user account for added security, you can create a new Windows account without signing in to Microsoft. Here’s how to do it:

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the Start Menu and click Settings.
  2. Go to Accounts > Family & other users.
  3. Under Other users, click Add someone else to this PC.
  4. When prompted to sign in with a Microsoft account, click I don’t have this person’s sign-in information.
  5. On the next screen, click Add a user without a Microsoft account.
  6. Enter a username and password for the new account. Choose something easy to remember.
  7. Click Next to finish. Your new account is now ready!

Optional: Make It a Standard Account

By default, new accounts are created as standard users. This is ideal for security. If you ever need to check or change this:

  • Go back to Settings > Accounts > Family & other users.
  • Click the account you just created, then click Change account type.
  • Make sure it says Standard User (not Administrator).

You’re All Set!

You can now log in to this new account and run the bot with added protection. No Microsoft account needed, and no extra setup required.
